1. Ozark Mountain Pizza

Ozark Mountain Pizza is one of the closest restaurants to Autumn Creek, located just a couple of minutes north of us on Highway 265. They serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches, wings, and salads, with dine-in, carryout, and delivery available.

We order from here regularly and have always found the pizza excellent and the service genuinely friendly. Our favorites are the Supreme and Not Yo Chicken pizzas, while our daughter swears by the pepperoni and olive.

Current posted hours: Open until 10 p.m. Wednesday through Monday; closed Tuesday.

2. Lala’s Street Food

Lala’s is a small, locally owned food stand at Lera Family Farm in Branson West. The menu includes tacos, quesadillas, street corn, loaded fries, and other Mexican street-food favorites.

Most of the seating is outdoors, so it is especially enjoyable on a pleasant evening. Because Lala’s does not open every day, check its current schedule before heading over.

Typical hours: Open until 11 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

3. El Lago Mexican Restaurant

El Lago in Branson West is our go-to spot when we are craving Mexican food. The menu is one of the largest we have seen at a Mexican restaurant in the area, so it works well for couples, families, and groups with different tastes.

Our favorite is the Nachos Fajitas. We also recommend the chicken and chorizo tacos. There is a second El Lago on Highway 248, and we have found it every bit as good as the original.

Typical hours: Open until 9 p.m., with later hours on weekends.

4. The Lake House at Indian Point

The Lake House is a relaxed lakeside restaurant and pub tucked away on Indian Point. Its menu includes gourmet pizza, burgers, chicken, salads, appetizers, and other casual choices.

This is one of the latest local options on Friday and Saturday nights, when it remains open until 1 a.m. It is also a nice choice if you want dinner, drinks, lake views, and occasional live entertainment in one stop.

Current posted hours: Until 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and midnight Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

5. Cakes & Cream Fifties Diner

Cakes & Cream has been a Branson tradition for decades. The colorful 1950s diner serves burgers, sandwiches, pizza, fries, ice cream, funnel cakes, and large desserts meant for sharing.

It is one of the better late-evening choices for families, especially when some people want dinner and others only want ice cream or something sweet after a show.

Typical hours: Open until approximately 11 p.m., with seasonal variations.

6. Saint City’s Sports Bar & Grill

Saint City’s is a highly rated sports bar serving burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and other freshly prepared American food.

The bar stays open later than the kitchen, so pay attention to the food-service cutoff. On Friday and Saturday, the kitchen serves until 11 p.m., making it one of Branson’s better choices after an evening show.

Kitchen hours: Until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Bar hours: Until midnight Sunday through Thursday and 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

7. Crazy Craig’s Sports Bar & Grill

Crazy Craig’s Sports Bar & Grill offers burgers, wings, sandwiches, baskets, salads, fried pickles, and other casual favorites. It is a comfortable place to catch a game or sit down for a relaxed late dinner.

Unlike many Branson restaurants, it stays open until at least 11 p.m. every night, with midnight closing Thursday through Saturday.

Current posted hours: Until 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and midnight Thursday through Saturday.

8. Crazy Craig’s Treehouse

Crazy Craig’s Treehouse is another useful late-night choice on the Branson Strip. The menu includes burgers, wings, chicken tenders, paninis, sandwiches, pizza, and appetizers.

The atmosphere becomes more bar-oriented later in the evening. Families traveling with children should confirm the current age policy and kitchen closing time before going.

Typical hours: Open until approximately 1 a.m.

9. Full Throttle Distillery & Smokehouse

Located in Historic Downtown Branson, Full Throttle combines a smokehouse restaurant, distillery, live entertainment, and plenty of motorcycle memorabilia.

The menu includes brisket, ribs, burgers, catfish, chicken, sandwiches, and other hearty choices. Its midnight closing time on Friday and Saturday makes it especially useful after a show or a late arrival.

Current posted hours: Until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.

10. Big Whiskey’s at Branson Landing

Big Whiskey’s is a full-service restaurant overlooking the fountains at Branson Landing. The large menu includes burgers, steaks, tacos, wings, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and plenty of drink choices.

It stays open later than most full-service restaurants in Branson, particularly from Thursday through Saturday. It is a good option for families, couples, and groups who want more than typical bar food.

Current posted hours: Until 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Sunday; 12:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

11. Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub

Waxy O’Shea’s is an Irish pub at Branson Landing with live music, drinks, and a substantial food menu. Choices include fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and Irish-inspired appetizers.

The pub is open until 1 a.m. nightly, but the full kitchen may stop serving earlier. If you will arrive especially late, call before heading to the Landing.

Current posted hours: Open until 1 a.m. daily.

12. Downing Street Pour House

Downing Street Pour House is a locally owned pub in historic downtown Hollister, just across Lake Taneycomo from Branson. The menu includes wood-fired burgers, sandwiches, entrées, appetizers, fish and chips, and poutine.

It quickly earned a place on our short list of favorite burger stops. We also enjoyed the fish and chips and the poutine, which tasted remarkably close to what we have eaten in Quebec. If you prefer traditional poutine, ask them to leave off the garlic garnish.

Typical hours: Until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

What is open 24 hours in Branson?

If it is too late for the restaurants above, Branson still has several dependable options:

  • Whataburger: Open 24 hours, including dine-in and drive-through.
  • Denny’s: Open 24 hours with breakfast and a full diner menu.
  • IHOP: Open 24 hours with breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and other casual meals.

Several McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Subway, Domino’s, and other fast-food locations also stay open late, but their hours vary considerably.

Our advice for finding late-night food in Branson

If you expect to eat after 9 p.m., decide where you are going before your show or activity begins. Branson restaurants sometimes shorten their hours during slower seasons, and the kitchen may close 30 minutes or more before the posted closing time.

When in doubt, call first. A quick phone call can save you a drive across town and help the restaurant know you are on the way.
